Description :
The Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, commonly known as Nassau Coliseum, is located just outside the city on Long Island. It is best known as the home of the New York Islanders professional hockey team as well as for hosting major concerts.
Among the facilities is the Expo Center @ Nassau Coliseum, a 60,000 square foot hall that is located in the lower lobby. The Expo Center is the host to many trade and consumer shows each year.
The coliseum is located on a former Army/Air Force base called Mitchel Field. |
